Building Your Common Cents Philanthropy Team or Committee

Below are guidelines to help you in building your Common Cents Philanthropy team or committee.

  • Announce that a new program is being started and that employees are needed to make the idea a success- provide the website address.
  • Make the committee effort a “Team Plan” so that everyone can participate in the development of ideas.
  • Point out that this program is meant to be fun and exciting and make a difference in the lives of everyone involved.
  •  Appoint a  Chairperson who will help prepare and agenda and facilitate the meetings.
  • Stay focused to the non-money side of the program and work in that direction.
  • Keep your plans simple and productive.
  • Outline a committee structure and plan that works for your team!
  • Make it work.
